Spring Break Trip 2008 to Jackson Hole, WY
About Jackson Hole
Jackson Hole has 2500 acres in bounds, its 4,139 continuous vertical feet from top to bottom, and gets 400+ inches of snow per year. Plus an additional easily accessible 3000 acres out of bounds. Now... you might say "gee isn't going out of bounds against the rules?" Not at Jackson Hole! They have gates that you are allowed to use to access the out of bounds area, but remember your avalanche gear.
When is it?
Friday March 14 - Saturday March 22
What does the trip include?
Last year, included with the cost was:
- 6 Nights lodging at the Antler Inn
- 4 out of 5 day lift ticket, with optional 5th day at discounted price

How Much?
- The cost is $495 for Bus Packages or $375 for Landpackages. ($100 deposit is due at time of sign-up to hold your spot)
How do I sign up?
Sign up starts Thursday Feb. 7 at the SnS Kickoff. After that, sign up at the Hoofers Office
Trip Leader Application
Apply to be a Trip Leader. Applications are due Friday, February 15th.

Midwest Trips

When is it?
Feb 29th - Mar 2nd 2008
We leave Friday evening around 4 pm and arrive back in Madison Sunday night.
How Much?
- Girls Price = $165 (because girls ski free at Mt. Bohemia (not Hoofers decision))
- Guys Price = $205
What do the trips include?
- Lodging - Cabins on the hill!
- Transportation - Badger Coach Bus (tv, bathroom, good things)
- Skiing - Lift tickets for both Saturday and Sunday
- Food - Brats social Saturday evening
- Rentals - Not included, but available and cheap

Weekday/Weekend Trips
When will they start?
After winter break
When will you go?
Tuesdays and Thursdays ... Trips currently planned: 1/29/08, 2/5/08, 2/7/08, 2/12/08, 2/14/08, 2/19/08, 2/21/08, 2/26/08, 3/4/08, 3/6/08, 3/11/08, 3/13/08. We leave from the Park Street Circle at 4 pm.
Occasional Wednesdays ... Check trip dates in the hoofer office.
Saturday and Sunday ... Starting 1/26/08 and going until there is no more snow. We typically leave from the Park Street Circle at 11am.
How much will it cost?
Tuesdays: $12 lift tix, $10 rental, $8 transportation. Wednesday and Thursdays: $16 lift tix, $6 rental, $8 transportation. Sat/Sun: $20 for a ticket, $8 for transportation
Signing Up
Come down to the Hoofer office to sign up and pay the transportation and ticket fee by the time the Hoofer office closes (which is 5pm) up to the day before the trip. You will NOT be allowed to sign up for a trip the day of the trip. Trips fill up fast, so sign up early!
Make sure you bring your Student ID on the trip!
