Tuesday Night Racing

Wisconsin Nordic was out in force at the first Tuesday night race at Elver. Check the results--KT and Christian each earned first place in overall Women's/Men's 10K freestyle! Jesse and Sebastian weren't far behind. Very impressive, you guys. Next race maybe the team can take complete command of the "podium". To anyone who hasn't skied an Elver race, they're fast and fun, not to mention cheap practice for more serious races.

Elver Race, January 23

The team turnout at Elver yesterday was huge! The snow was excellent. Several members participated in the 5K and 10K races. Results are here.

Noque Shortened to 45K/20K

Hard to believe with all our snow and sub-freezing temps, but the organizers of the Noque just announced that they will likely be moving the finish from the City of Marquette to the Forestville Ski Stadium, due to a lack of snow in town. Course distances would be 45K and 20K. The rest of the trail is in excellent condition.

First Practice Tuesday 1/23

The first practice of second semester will be held this Tuesday night. Meet at the University Fleet parking lot at 6pm, and we will travel to Elver Park for the Tue night race at 7pm. All are welcome, whether you want to race or not. We will plan on being back at about 8pm. A more concrete practice schedule will be posted later this week.

Those coming late, please let us know your opinions when you get there.

The theme is as follows:
Where did you get such great spandex? We expect everyone in their brightest, finest, most intense spandex. Let us know if you need a suit—we may have extras.
