| regatta report - Streufert Cup 2005
September 3-4, 2005 Wisco sent four teams to Streufurt this year. Among them were Red, White, Womens, and DOC (dept. of corrections). The regatta was sailed in 420s and took place at Waysata Bay in Lake Minnetonka. Schools competing included Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Washington University, and St. Thomas. Wind was moderate Saturday morning but picked up quickly throughout the afternoon. Sunday's conditions were too light for racing. Wisco Red and Minnesota Gold tied for first. Skippers for Wisco Red included Aaron Mann, Rob Pickens, and Matt Schmidt.
