Hoofer Membership

Hoofer membership is open to all University of Wisconsin-Madison students, faculty and staff, and Wisconsin Union members. Anyone can join the Union by paying a Union membership fee. Usually the membership dues include use of some or all club equipment (check with each individual club). Membership dues can be paid at the Outdoor Programs Office or at the kickoffs. Hoofer Sailing Club and Outing Club membership dues may also be paid at the Memorial Union Boathouse.

    You must be a member of the Wisconsin Union (current UW-Madison students are automatic members) or faculty/staff member to participate in Hoofer activities.  The Hoofer Office sells six month introductory Union memberships for $30.00.  For annual and lifetime Union memberships, please contact the Union Membership office at (608) 262-2263.
