Hoofer Council Chair Applications Open

Hoofer Council's new exec board is starting the search for dedicated, motivated individuals to fill next year's chair positions on Hoofer Council. Positions include: Development, Marketing, Education, Renovations, Events, Technology, and Historian.  Position descriptions for each chair position can be found on the Council page of the website. Hoofer Council Election Results

The votes are in!  Thanks to all who ran and all who voted and congratulations to the new Hoofer Council Exec Board!  President: Mike Rugnetta  VP Administration: Erin Umhoefer  VP Programs: Max Olsen  VP Finance: Brendan Walsh  Secretary: Chelsea Anderson  The new execs will take office in May, but will be accepting applications for Hoofer Council chair positions soon so watch for more information on how to apply for a position on Hoofer Council!  

Hoofer Council Elections!

Hoofer Council Executive Board elections have begun.  To read each candidate's bio please see the attached document.  Voting will occur Monday 3/19-Friday 3/23 at 5pm.  Ballots are located in the Outdoor Programs Office and the ballot box will be brought to all meetings possible.  To vote you must be a current Hoofer member and must include your name on the ballot to verify this and prevent voter fraud.  If you wish to vote anonymously please ask a staff member at the Outdoor Programs Office.  Winners will be announced Monday 3/26 and will take office after the Transition Banquet in May.

Hoofer Council Nominations

Fellow Hoofers! The time has come to start thinking about next year's leadership.  Nominations are now being taken for the next Hoofer Council executive board.  To nominate yourself or someone who you think would be a great Hoofer leader, send a name, email address, and club the person in involved in (if possible) to Brendan Walsh our current Vice President of Administration at vpadmin@hoofers.org. Nominations will be taken until March 16, elections will begin March 19 and go through that Friday, 3/23.  Election results will be announced Monday, March 26.  For position descriptions, check the Hoofer Council page and click on the position descriptions link. 

All Hoofer Kickoff Tonight!

All Hoofer Kickoff Spring 2012

Come join us for the Spring semester All Hoofer Kickoff tonight, Thursday 2/16, from 7pm-9pm in Tripp Commons, Memorial Union.  All the clubs will be there ready to answer questions and talk about the wonderful things we do.  Club sign-ups will be available on the spot and there will be cake and refreshments for all.   Can't make it to the kick-off? Come visit us in the Outdoor Programs Office for information and to sign-up for clubs.
