Summer is here and so are our new hours!

The Hoofer Outdoor Programs Office, located on the 5th floor of the Memorial Union, will be open:

Monday - Friday: 10 am - 8 pm

Saturday: Noon - 5 pm

Constitutional Amendment and Open Meeting

Next week Monday, April 8th, at 8:00 pm, there will be an open meeting for all Hoofer members to attend if they wish to discuss the proposed amendment to the Hoofer Council Constitution (location TBD, it will be located in MU on TITU).  This is essentially what was approved earlier this year, but due to improper procedures we are re-amending the constitution.  Attached is the proposed change to the constitution.  This change will allow Hoofer Council to change the names of positions as needed without having to consult all of Hoofer membership prior to approving such changes.  If you wish to make a remark, please let me know via email prior to the meeting at President@hoofers.org.

SPRING BREAK HOURS 3/25 - 3/29

The Outdoor Programs Office will be closed Monday, March 25th. Operating hours for Tuesday, March 26th through Friday, March 29th will be 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

HOOFER COUNCIL EXECUTIVE BOARD ELECTIONS

Please vote in person in the Outdoor Programs Office. The OPO is located on the 5th floor of the Memorial Union and is open Monday to Friday 11 am – 5 pm. If you cannot make it into the OPO during the office hours, please attend your club meeting during the week of March 4 – 8 as a council representative will be there for elections.Attached are the bios for the candidates. The following positions are in the Hoofer Council elections: President, Vice President – Administration, Vice President – Development, Vice President – Finance and Vice President – Programs. If you are interested in the chair positions, applications are on hoofers.org. Voters must be a member of a Hoofer club. Please direct any questions to vp_development@hoofers.org.
