Hoofer Council Chair Position Application Open!
The application can be found here.  The open positions are as follows (and their position descriptions are attached):
  • Education and Risk Management Chair
  • Admin Chair
  • Technology Chair
  • Marketing Chair
  • Events Chair
The application is open now until Saturday, March 8th.  Make sure you submit your application by the date above for it to be considered.  If you have any questions, make sure you come to the Leadership Social this Wednesday, 5-7pm in the Mendota Lodge.  Leaders will be there to answer any of your questions you may have!

Hoofer Council Elections

Hello fellow Hoofers!

Hoofer Council elections are next week! Nominate Hoofers with this form. You can review Council positions and their duties on the Council page.

The Hoofer Council Elections timeline is as follows:

Nomination Period (for executive positions): February 11th to February 21st

Election Period (for executive positions): February 24th to March 7th

The ballot box will be located at the Outdoor UW Office at MU during hours of operation (12-6pm) as well as at club meetings.
Voting has to be done IN PERSON and it is only open to CURRENT HOOFER MEMBERS.

Chair position application period: February 24th to March 8th (Application is an online format -- link will be provided at a later date)

If you know of someone who would be interested in running for a position, you can nominate them -- fill out this form if you want your nomination to be considered.  The position descriptions for the Executive board are attached, and will be posted online at hoofers.org.  The available chair positions as well as the position descriptions will be posted at hoofers.org by February 24th.

If you are interested in becoming a Hoofer leader, please attend the Hoofer Leader Social on February 26th, 5-7pm (location posted on TITU). We will have current leaders and open positions for next year at the social -- so be sure to come and chat with current leaders about the awesome opportunities available over some snacks and refreshments.

Council Fee Increase Proposal

Hoofer Council will be voting Monday, January 27th, at 8pm on a proposal to increase Council fees, which every Hoofer pays, by four dollars. The meeting will be held in Mendota Lodge in the Memorial Union. Please let Chelsea Anderson president@hoofers.org know if you have any questions or concerns.

January 6 - 17: Monday - Friday, 3 - 6 p.m.

Closed on Monday, January 20 for MLK. 

Our office will reopen on Tuesday, January 21 with our normal office hours of Monday - Friday, Noon to 6 p.m.
